The Earlies:
I started working with this band around 2004, firstly recording, then mixing their material at Airtight. This relationship developed and I joined the live band soon after. A very creative team, we recorded two Earlies albums and produced two other albums - Micah P. Hinson's Gospel Of Progress and King Creosote's KC Rules OK. We also recorded some tracks for Plan B's debut album Who Needs Action When You've Got Words.
I Am Kloot:
I joined I Am Kloot as a touring musician in 2010. They had recorded their majestic album Sky At Night and were trying to work out how to play it live without resorting to backing tracks. I helped them to figure out a lineup for touring, including my Earlies bandmate Nicky Madden (sax, vox, samples) and Airtight comrade and best buddy Alan Lowles (piano, accordion, vox). This lineup continued to tour up until the band's dissolution in 2014,and is featured on the live album Hold Back The Night.
